Applications are invited for the Permanent full-time position of Senior Contracts and Tender Manager in St. Vincent’s Private Hospital.

As Senior Contracts and Tender Manager, your primary role will involve the evaluation and negotiation of annual private medical insurance contracts, as well as driving strong contract performance during the year. A deep understanding of the private health insurance market is required and an ability to work closely with a variety of both clinical and non clinical internal stakeholders, while forging strong partnerships with the external private medical insurers (PMI’s).

As our partnerships with the HSE (Health Service Executive), the NPTF (National Purchase Treatment Fund) and IEHG (Ireland East Health Group) have grown in recent times, the successful candidate will also be required to maximise tender opportunities

Essential Criteria

The post holder must have:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher
• Experience of Contracts management and negotiation
• Strong Insurance experience preferably health Insurance background
• Managing of Tendering processes
• Ability to work with multiple PMI’s understanding contracts
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams including nursing ward staff, consultants and medical secretaries

Desirable Criteria

It is desirable that the post holder have:

A Masters Degree
